I am sitting at a red light in the center lane when a newer model Convertible Mustang with a healthly sounding exhaust gets next to me, on my left...

Two younger guys are in the car and they look over at me with some rather cocky looking expressions, as I am sitting their with my stereo blasting, playing Rock a Bye Boogie by Rosie Flores, a SIZZLIN' Rockabilly jumper...

I motion them a no signal with my finger, as if to tell them don't even think about it...

Light turns green and we both take off slow, I fall a car back... then into 2nd gear... about the mid of my 2nd gear, they are ahead almost 2 cars and they punch it as I hear the cars exhaust really opening up...This car was loud..

I step on it and destroy the tires and quickly get to their door as I am bouncing off of my 6500 rev limiter, I then go into 3rd and engage 'High Boost' with my little switch I have set up near the shifter, as unfortunately for these 2, my car was on some VP's C16...

My car became a 'scalded cat' and just shred the Mustang, I found myself torque steering like crazy and a easy 10+ cars well out in front and still pulling away....

I looked in my rear view mirror and saw their doors flying in the air back in the distance....

I am sure their ears were ringing, because the SRT gets incredibly loud and mean, on 32 psi...

It was nasty and probably my most one sided race, as they got hit with some 600+ Horsepower......

This car on high boost is incredible...

My car got some fresh oil, some welding done, and some C16, and she was very happy.... and angry at the same time....

LittleMT: How does the lack of traction bother your? I ask because I got rid of a modded 1.8T because I couldn't stand the FWD thing. It was no where near your power level, however I LOVED the ~ 20 psi turbo spool though....so intoxicating...but when it would loose traction all the time, it became more of a hassle since I couldn't justify the additional $ to TRY to get it to hook up.

I am smart to come out of 1st gear and even 2nd gear at half throttle or low boost... then into 3rd, wot, or engage high boost... tires will spin however they will hook in 3rd and the car flat out flys.....

if i floor it in 1st with even 17psi of boost, that is a dumb thing for me to do... and in the excitment of the moment, i have done this..

what i am saying, is there is a certian way to drive the car, and it does remarkably well.....

I like the hole-shot :D and could never get there with the 1.8T. Also having a 450 RWHP Saleen and an M Roadster where traction was not really an issue, I just gave up rather than trying to conquer it. Glad it doesn't really bother you.

C16 is one of VP's Higher Octane rated leaded raced fuels.. It's motor Octane is 117, and it is rather ideal for turbo charged engines...
