Had the engine swapped 40k back. At apx 120,000 now. asking $8,900. has i think BBS 17" wheels. Ive just driven by it and called the dealer.Gonna look at it tomorrow morning and if its clean and runs right. I'll grab it. Green and tan.I've wanted an E34 for a while and always looked for a 535 5 sp but this is just down the road and looks sweet with lots of records , the sellers says its mint and in perfect shape and the all important Alusil block confirmed by BMWNA today. well drove the 540 today. That second gear is mad.Shame was as it has one wheel off being trued they could only find a 15" tire to use in its place and since the wheels are wider in the back than the front and the one missing wheel was a front it had the odd sized tire on the right front and the front end would go crazy approaching 50 so i couldn't get it up there. I hope its just the one odd tire, the rest are low profile 17" maybe 118" they looked fairly narrow thru the wall i didn't look at the tire.Leathers clean but might look cleaner after a good sudzing.I'm gonna take it for a pre purchace next week when they get the wheel back. They're asking $8,995.00 and it has $129,000 and really no maintainance records fo which to speak. Like one oil change was all they had.This is bothersome. The last owner drove it nearly 40,000 miles since 6/04 near when they replaced the block.Also the muffler bracket needs replacing but we'll see what elese after the prepurch.
