This has probably already made the rounds on the opininon polls but thought I would revive it for some fresh opinions.

Recently acquired my first BMW, a 2000 528i and wanted to know what ya'll though regarding best upgrades. It is in very good condition with low to moderate mileage and I wish to keep for the long term. I realize that this is not a performance minded purchase so I don't wish to sell the farm to squeeze a few more horses out of the engine. However, that being said I wouldn't mind an sensible upgrade to improve acceleration response.

Particularly interested in bluetooth phone, NAV, audio and other like accoutrements that will enhance the luxury considerations that a well appointed BMW can provide.

Have already decided on some 18" M parallels when the present rubber needs replacement

So tell me what choices would you make and why?

A Nav upgrade will be costly. Wheels are a must. Is it a sport package? If not, consider getting shadowline trim to replace your chrome. I saw a bluetooth kit go for $300 on ebay; I dont talk on my phone enough to use that but maybe you do. Its all on your preferences.
