So I'm driving my 95 540i6 down Murrieta Hot Springs road here in Socal and i see this newer, black, porche turbo :eek: . This thing is BADASS, with a late 40's white guy driving it. I turn off my stereo to listen to the beast as we toy around town but nothing too crazy. So we finnaly get the chance to line up at a stop light. No communication between the two of us at all but once the light is getting close to turning green i hear him rev alittle bit and his car slowly rolling foward (prepping for the launch), so i do the same.

GREEN LIGHT! I have a decent launch and better reaction so i pull a half a cl and then he catches up right next to me, shifts, pulls ahead a half a cl, i shift into 2nd and squeal for a second or so. he keeps pulling as we both shift into 3rd. and at about 65ish hes a good 2 cl's on me and lets off for literally a quick second (notices im still going) and he punches it again.
So i got the opportunity to inch closer until he started to pull on me again :mad
we let off at 80 and when i pulled up to him he had the biggest smile on his face, as did i and we thumbs upped each other :)



That car was by far amazing!!!

My brother-in-law lives in Phoenix and has a 2001 Turbo with Tech Art suspension/exhaust/programming. I am guessing the 0-60 time is sub 4-sec.

I had the opportunity to ride in it when we visted last month, and it is insane! Stomach-churning, jet-engine acceleration!

me too but it was a really quick run, i got the jump off the line, and he let off at about 65 when i was still going (and he started up again)
