For Sale: STACK ST8100 dash display (used). This dash combines the individual gauges into one digital display. This dash replaces the tachometer, speedometer, oil pressure gage, fuel pressure gage, water temperature gage, oil temperature gage, and voltmeter. It also displays laps times automatically. This unit is configured with the easy-to-read inverted dial face (0-3-8000 RPM). Unit size is approximately 7.75” wide x 4.0” high x 1.5” deep. The dash works great without any problems. I'll gladly answer any questions you may have.

The kit I have includes:
Dash display w/0-3-8000 RPM tacho
Complete wiring harness
Four push button switches w/wiring
Wheel speed sensor (proximity)
Lap time receiver (for automatic lap timing)
External (in addition to the one in the dash) warning light
External (in addition to the one in the dash) shift light
ST8100 user manual
Carbon fiber dash board (dash not for BMW, was cut for open wheel race car.)

The dash has the provisions for fuel pressure and oil temp, but I do not have the sensors for these. You will also need oil pressure, water temp sensors. Also, the lap time trackside beacon is not included, but there is usually one set up at the track by someone else.

The dash has programmable values for wheel circumference, number of cylinders in engine, shift point rpm, high water temp alarm, high oil temp alarm, low fuel pressure alarm, low oil pressure alarm, and low battery voltage. The dash will also record the peak values for these values in addition to recording peak speed and best lap time. The dash could be added to STACK’s modular data acquisition system. For more info…

I wonder how hard this would be to wire into a street car.

Tap into the rpm wire in the cluster harness, tap into the abs sensors for speedo (or use new sensors), and tap into the fuel level wire so you can calibrate fuel level....the rest of the info is taken from their own sensors you add (oil temp, oil pressure, water temp, etc). It's not really all that involved for the basic ST8100 setup.
