Hey, I have been searching some and I have also read some post about this problem... But none of them solved mine :(
As I have been reading in several post, the blue cable is the remote.
But there is no pure blue cable in the E87, any solutions to that?

I don't think very many people on here will know much about your car since we don't have it in the US. It sounds like you've got a stock head unit...?? If so, you can probably splice into something like the power antenna wire in the stock amplifier in the trunk (assuming your car has a stock amplifier in the trunk...I dunno). If it's an aftermarket head unit just look at the manual you got with it to see what wire it is.

I'll look to see if Alldata has the E87 when I get to the shop tomorrow, but I doubt it. If it does, I'll grab the wiring diagram for you...

And yeah it's a stock head unit, but I can't seem to find the amplifier... I got one solution maybe, make the remote from the licensing plate lamp, but I don't know if it will work either...
