Ok kiddo, I've stayed out of all of this mess until now... grow up. You want people to treat you with respect, then treat others with respect. You're new here - learn the ropes before you duck underneath them and start swinging. This forum, and especially this board, is a GREAT resource for you to come and learn all about the car you have and how to handle it. You'll meet some amazing people here who can teach you about BMWs and life in general. But in order to hear what others say, you have to close your mouth and listen.

Don't automatically be on the defense. Have a sense of humor about yourself and about your situation. Learn to take things in stride. Take the ribbing from senior members and dish it out, but do it good naturedly without attitude. You'll get the same in return, I promise you. You've dug yourself quite a hole, so you're going to need to work to get out of it but it can be done and I wish you luck. I hope that you stay here and learn here, but I hope you don't continue to come here with the way you've been handling yourself. This, too, shall pass.

Not much and it's not a salvage title like hinz3's is (now if you read stephs post you know it's ok for ray and i to crack on each other because we have met and he's a good guy. he'll return fire shortly). Get your folks to fix it and I'll teach you how to drive a BMW. My M3 is sloooowwwww as balls right now and it would be perfect for you to learn on. In the end, it'll be an investment.


If nothing else, accept the fact your parents pay for everything. Dude, it's ok just don't pimp like it's your own Benjamins going towards everything and ease up on cracking on folks. Listen, you're young and it's cool. We were all there and inside we all wish we had parents that would shell out those kind of $'s for a M3. You're probably a decent guy to hang out with just ease up trying to be all hard and be yourself. If this is your real personality then dead yourself. Otherwise accept it for what it is, eat some humble pie, and you'll be further ahead here and in life.
