here are some initial pics of the deck being powered up in the car with the awesome NAVI display.

This latest unit from Pioneer combines Eclipse 5495 technology and takes it one step further.

It has the 30gb harddrive, auto ripping CD ability, built in NAV, and touchscreen/DVD capability of the Eclipse but ADDS:

1) Bluetooth with optional module
2) Ipod integration with full touchscreen controls
3) Sirius and Satellite Radio
4) Rips CD's at even faster speeds
5) 7" Display which is HUGE!

Any questions feel free to email me and I'd be happy to help if I can. We are now at over 40+ installs of this type in the bay area alone.

We can custom make the bezel since the Z1 outer dimensions are much larger than the Eclipse. If you chose to go with the pre-fab bezel that Rich sells, those have to be modified a bit to make it work with this deck.

rick

Very sweet indeed! Did you loose any functionality in the car?

Wow thats awesome, I just realized you moved the climate controls down below the radio, how hard was that to do?

Thanks guys, I will have more pics on my website under gallery:

Actually this deck is one of the easiest to use since it's all self contained in one chassis. I am in the process of installing this into my s2000 right now....

Moving the temp controls below is a must since you need to make space for the radio and modifying the vents.

As a stereo guy myself, I have to say you do really nice work. It's good to see someone not scared to cut up a car, and make it look like it came that way from the factory at the same time. Keep it up!

Hello,

Just curious, how much does that deck retail for? Also, how much would the install be for a 95 m3? Thanks a bunch!

S4Play,

Do you make kits/bezel's for E39 M5's? I'd like to get rid of the small nav system and put in a Z1. I am in MI so it's a little tough to get to your shop!

If you have any questions please email me directly:

s4playko@yahoo.com

For the E39 body, it will require a custom bezel / dash kit and unfortuntaely we will need your car here. There just isn't too many E39 guys who are requesting this as you can see the majority are E46 m3 owners.

If you want it done and local to the San Jose, bay area, give me a call! :)

The deck you can find online for around $2200 but list is $2699 from eclipse.

here is one more m3 we recently finished up:
