my tachometer just stopped working and was wondering what the problem was?

it was working fine b4 and now the gauge is stuck at 4000rpm and moves from there when driving....

press and hold odo reset button, and then switch ignition to position one. let go of odo button, press the odo reset button once to change to Test#2 and watch the gauges. if something looks fishy, one of your stepper motors are bad.
