guys im from jakarta indonesia, can you help me with this overheat problem?
there is no leak in radiator
new waterpump
new thermostat
new radiator cap.

if there is no stop n go on traffic my temp is always cold..
but if i hit traffic jam the temp rising up..n its scare me a bit.

if i check my visco fan..my fan spin freely but not blowing a lot of air in to my radiator,but if i turn off the engine i can spin my fan very easy..but in my other bmw i cannot spin the fan very easy if i turn off the engine... im sorry if my english not that good.

Since there's been recent cooling system work, it is possible that you still have air in the cooling system. That can cause overheats at idle when the pump isn't moving much coolant around. A re-bleed of the system should fix that.

You could have a bad fan clutch. The test for the fan clutch is to drag a rolled up newspaper or magazine against the blade tips with the car idling. On a cold engine it should be easy to stop the fan. On a hot engine, with lots of hot air being pulled through the radiator, it should be difficult to stop the fan.

try the fan clutch in from of the water pump pulley, the round metal that hold the fan, behind the radiator???
