$600 bones for the 40mm.... dont get 57, your water pump shaft will. be sticking into it. 40mm is still 10-15mm bigger than stock.

I'm still looking into electric fans... only 2 3/4" of space available... so that SEVERLY limits options... plus you need something with a high enough CFM flow rate to keep us cool.... something like over 1500-1800 CFM. I have one 16"X3.5" SPAL 2350 CFM. But is 3.39" thicknes... BAD..
But while I've been looking around found a few options... run two small fans or buy a lo pro 16" SPAL fan.... only 1610 CFM, BUT only 2.48" thick!! So yeah.... let me know what you decide... I'll give you a hand doin it too if you want.

I think the Fiesta Casino off of Lake Mead and the U.S 95 are 39 bucks a night. It's about 15 mins from the strip. I'd look into that.

Orleans isn't that bad of a deal either, but I dun think they can top the $39/night.

Also, I want to mention that the SCCA doesn't "sponsor" drivers like you said, they just sponsor events. If you were an active part of that club, you would understand a little more clearly the role they play in motorsports.

I hope that wasn't directed at all of us. You seem like a cool guy Dan, but as you can see Kevin's the only person making those comments about the CCA and SCCA. And our little get togethers aren't about street racing. It's about getting to know everyone around here. What they do after the meet is beyond them. I'm all about meeting new people and don't want to get all of this going on a sh!tty note. Let's just end this bickering right here. And Kevin if you have anything bad to say about any clubs, direct them via PM to people that are actually in the club. Not at us, because we could care less.

it is awesome to see a vegas scene... i;m from NC and i am at nellis. i was wondering if anyone has a 95-99 m3 for sale. i total my car before i joined and i NEED a bmw, i found one at Ken's automotive/salvage yard and i was going to get it. i am having it inspected at bmw performance on spring mountain on tuesday. are they going to do a good job? tell me about the shop and find me another car. i have to get it looked at because it has a rebuilt title and i want to know it the frame is bent!!!!!!! shoot me some info!

yeah i almost bought that one but alan won;t come down on the price.! idk why. it is a rebuilt also. same guy i am getting this black one from. he has 3 95 m3's all have rebuilts. the dakar was his personal car and he won;t let it go for under 10k. i will red flag that car b.c it has so much bondo and the hood doesn;t sit right. that car is not a keeper. it drives great. it feels just like a race car. it;s got koni's and eibachs. it is in perfect condition on the inside.

95-99 ///M3 with low miles for 10k? How low are you willing to accept? 120k miles? Any ///M3 with low miles is going to be above 10k. I'd say up your price a bit, at least 13k. You should find a decent one for that price.

yeah this black one i am looking at right now is 8500 and it has 120k on it. the only thing i have found wrong with it is the RS window motor is shot. it is getting inspected on tuesday at bmw perforance

Unfortunately my car won't start so I won't be able to make tonight's meet(check general tech). Replaced the Main/DME relay and still no luck. I don't even have time to diagnose it today :( gtg. hope to see ya's next Saturday for the Gumball 3000.

Marq, i hope you get your car fixed bro..If you need help working on it like on your days off let me know & we can arrange something out. I think it could be your alternator going out period or yeah could be your relay system or check also to make sure your oxygen sensors are also good.

thanks, well I did a bit of diagnosing tonight. The connectors going to the coil packs looks to get voltage, all the fuses look ok aswell as the main relay. I hated to leave the car sitting outside on the driveway especially on a Saturday night. So I kept cranking the car up in a gear, on a steep driveway, into the garage inches by inches. When it finally made it in, fuel was leaking like mad out of the intake! ouch on the new K&N :cool ..so fuel is X'ed out. I think water may have somehow gotten its way into the DME compartment while I was washing the car last night.. I'll check on that tomorrow. Not that everyone cares, just thought I'd share. Suks that I had to miss the biggest meet yet. But it gets bigger every week so what the heck right?!

Hey Marq don't spend any money just yet on the parts if you are having a leak down like that, my cousin used to be a technician for desert BMW so i'm sure he'll know exactly what the problem right off the bat..He's at work right now & i already tried contacting him just now about your problem with your car but when i get a whole of him i'll surely let you know.
