With the launch of the E39 M5, Steve Dinan set out to create something very special….the S2. This was engineered to truly be a natural extension of what BMW had already created.

The Dinan S2-M5 has been dubbed "a rocket" by Car and Driver magazine; quite a fitting description for one of Dinan's finest high performance offerings to date. The S2-M5 represents the ultimate in naturally aspirated engine performance. With 470hp and 419 lb ft. tq, this sport sedan launches from 0-60mph in just 4.1 seconds!!

The Stage 2 Suspension System along with the Strut and Shock Tower Braces provide handling that belies the M5's substantial size, while maintaining a surprisingly comfortable ride. Naturally the optional Dinan 18" wheel and tire package priced at over $6,000 complete the suspension package.

There were only a handful of “true” Dinan S2 M5s created. This is a great opportunity to own a pampered magazine car at a fraction of its original price. The Dinan S2 package includes the following:

Built in Escort SR1 Radar Detector
Dinan lightweight forged allow wheels
Dinan Stainless Steel Performance Exhaust
Dinan Headers
Stage II Aluminum flywheel and performance clutch assembly
adjustable shocks
Front and Rear Stabilizer Bars
Strut Brace
Performance Engine Software
Dual Highflow Cold Air Intake System
Upgraded Polyurethane bushings
Invisible Clear Bra

This M5 had an MSRP of $73,000. With the Dinan S2 package, the price came to nearly $115,000!!

This car comes fully equipped with all the options including: Electric Rear Sunshade, Fold-Down Rear Seats w/Ski Bag, and Silverstone Extd. Leather Point.

New tires and new brakes.

This car has never been tracked or abused. It is in impeccable condition and very close to new!!

All books and keys are included as well as all service records.

That depends - what does your wife look like? :)

Also - Senior Citizen Owned - So how many dents are we talking, here? I'd love to see old people driving a car like this more often - that way when they're driving along with the left turn blinker on, mouth open with a dull expression on their face, they're going closer to 100 than 20 MPH. You know, if anyone were to paint that, I'd bet you could title it 'Angel of Death' and everyone would get the reference.

Now that I've said all that (all in good fun, of course)
Wicked Car, free bump. :D
