According to "Bild", MS manager, Weber, said that Flavio Briatore might be interested on having MS again in his team (Schumi won two championships with Briatore in Benetton) next year.
Alonso is going to Mclaren-Mercedes next year, and they want to replace him with Michael if he's not retiring.
On the other hand, MS said that if he continues racing he'll do it with Ferrari.
Who knows, it depends on how much money Renault offers him.

i see it as a last resort option. He has said if he stays, he is 99.9% sure itll be with Ferrari

hahahahaha! I will believe it when I see it. And I won't be happy about it since I am a big Michael and Ferrari fan...

interesting copy and paste from ferrari chat.

'Blick's Roger Benoit got the insider information in Kualu Lumpur: Kimi has signed with Ferrari. Actually even a year ago, before Alonso made his move to McLaren.

Apparently everybody at Ferrari knows it, they just haven't announced it yet.

if i could read that language....

What i want to know is just what IS definitive? Everyone has heard the rumors of shuffling for 07 but theres nothing concrete other than FA going to McLaren. Is it 100% true kimi is going to Ferrari....or is it just another rumor? Rumors are wastes of time

the rumor is that the contract between kimi and ferrari is signed, but nothing official yet so it's still a rumor.
I still can't see shumi coming to Renault, they can't pay him anywhere near the $30m/season he is making @ Ferrari.

"Was making" @ Ferrari. He's not what he used to be anymore.

Google language tool is your friend. Basically, why don't they make the announcement of the signed contracts instead of keeping it so secret. It's just part of the F1 game.

F1Live is reporting that Ferrari will anounce at Imola that their drivers will be Schumacher and Raikkonen.

Looks like I'll have to start pulling for Ferrari...

he is on €30m/year from ferrari + whatever money he is making from personnal sponsors. that could easely reach the 50m mark

If Raikkonen moves and Schumi stays, who's the number 1 driver? Seems like a point of contention and I doubt either one of them would back down.

Kimi to Ferrari?:mad
Michaels still number one in Ferrari. Poor Massa, give him the candy and then take it away.

If they are smart, they are preparing to transition MS out. Its doubtful that Ferrari doesn't know what MS's retirement plans look like. Maybe they feel that Massa is not a good replacement for MS. But, unless Ferrari wants a gap between MS and the next phenom, they will need to bring somebody in while MS is still driving. Prediction: MS is gone from Ferrari within 2 years.
