I am sorry to say I am leaving the BMW world for a short time untill I can locate the right E36/46 M3.
I have forsale my daily driven 540i 6speed!
Details:
1997 540i (best year of the E39!)
95k Miles
6 Speed man.
Cosmos Black over Black leather interior with the graphite dash & door trim
Features:
DSP Audio, six disc CD changer, Heated front seats Fold down rear seats, ski pass through, Phone, cruise, etc. VERY RARE manual sport seats!
Upgrades:
New 19" Axis rims w/ bmw logos with New Falken rubber
Dinan Engine Software from dealer at 16k miles
Smoked Headlights, side markers and yellow on tails
OEM HID Xenon projector headlights
M5 Sway bars F&R (not installed)
AC Schnitzner Roof Spoiler
CDV Delete?
Tint

I have most records!
EVERY E39 issue has been addressed! Cars good for another 100k!
OEM Parts ONLY! Work done at 88k-90k miles, at local shop:
New Radiator
New Water pump
New thermostat & housing
New belts
New pullies
New valve cover gaskets
New power steering lines
New fluids throughout, everything!
Fuel filter
New bosch plugs
New high flow catylatic converters
Previous owner had new brake pads put on all around
New trunk actuator
New Front Upper Control Arm Bushings (getting rid of the 45-55mph shimmy)
New air filter
New cabin filters
Problems:
There is a dent in the front hood to the left of the passenger side kidney grill. I bought it this way and you honestly don't really notice it.
Cluster has some pixels out, talked to BMW north america they will work with you!
Scratch above Right rear wheel
Slight curbing on right rear wheel (nothing to do with above)
Cupholders do not work(every bmw...)
Cigerette lighter is stuck in the "up" position
The leather is in very nice shape, the paint gleams and the car is a pure joy to drive. According to the OBC I have been getting 18-26MPG.
Title in hand!
