Did just that to my 98. JL 500/5 amp, 5.25 JL VR comps up front, 5.25 JL TR coax in the rear deck, and 10" JL sub. Tweeter goes into the front 2" mid position. No Line output converter needed. Disconnect the factory rear door mids. Sounds way better than stock.

This thread would do better on the Car Audio and electronics board than in the general 5 series board.

Read the sticky links at the top of the page before you post, there is plenty of good info there!

So what is your budget and what are your expectations?
Do you have DSP or not?

Ditto that, I put A/D/S 6 channel amp - MB Quart 5.25" components in the front and MB Quart 2 ways in the package tray.

The amp is mounted between the two 10" Free Air Kicker Comp Subs under the package tray with two bypasses cut out of the package tray. . .looks TOTALLY OEM, people see it and they think it came from the factory that way.

Do you have any pictures of your setup?
