The car looks fine for the most part, it looks like it's going to be heavier yet, and i'm not really feeling those taillights... looks like a civic or something else other than a bimmer. Looking forward to the finished project.

I will. everything about the front is very nice except for the hood. That craese in the middle has to go. Its called a "power BULGE" not "power fold"

i've seen pictures w/o the black tape and i don't like the taillights so far. The car otherwise looks fine, i'm slightly excited for a new on already.

so it was a dent? i thought maybe i was being confused by some kind of reflection.

There are some pics of a silver coupe without the tailights taped, but I think the general concensus is that the lights photoshoped. They're probably close to what they will really look like. They won't look like the M above ;)

Too heavy I think is an understatement.

Unless it manages to gain 500 lbs over a normal E90(which I doubt if you look at the weight savings stuff used on the M6), it won't be heavier than an E39 M5.

Everybody posting about the "dented hood" needs to off themselves. Don't you realize that they're trying to HIDE the fact that this is the new M3? Why would they put the power bulge right out the in the open? It looks all messed up because it's camoflage!

M3's should never be given V8's :(

The v8 will sit further back over a 6cyl. The difference in weight isn't much.

M3's should never be given i6's either.

The E90 is lighter than the E46.

The front looks great, with the flairs it looks something like the M coupe. The rear bumper I am having mixed feelings about maybe once its all done I am sure it will look alot better.

Exactly what I was thinkning. Not only are the lights taped up, but there are faux body panels all over that damn thing. The point of it is so you cannot see any of the proposed body lines and styling. This car will definately be awesome, but do not judge it based on these pictures.

I was always bummed that I never got an e46 m3 but damn, if I keep waiting eventually they will be like 700hp and exactly what I want without having to mod it. :stickoutt Way more hp and more like a widebody e92...that is how the M3 should be. We need to get back to as much of an exageration as the e30m3 was to the other e30s.

Exactly, all you can tell is the proportions and certain fender curves. One thing is for sure its gonna have those huge ass fenders in the front.

They never will stray from 50-50 weight distribution, and you'd be surprised at how light the V8 will be. The 2.5L I-6 in your 325i is about the same weight as an E39 M5's V8, if I recall correctly. Something to ponder.... :ponder
