I definitely prefer Armin, but I would want to go see Tiesto...BFC Tiesto meet FTW? He's normally too aggressive for me, but in the right setting it would be sweet. I hope ATB's name shows up when they release their events for later summer, I may end up going to Germany next summer to see him DJ....

Tiesto is not what he used to be 2-5 yrs ago. He's deff loosing his touch, IMO. On top of that, he just attracts the type of crowd that goes to see a DJ just because of his rank in a magazine, and that absolutely fucks up the night. Last time he was at glow was absolutely ridiculous! It was waaaaay too packed and his set sucked too... I saw we all go see PvD at Glow when he's going to be there towards the end of the summer :)

Yes, we drove Simsima's MARB to Fur and subsequently got ripped off at the parking lot....the sign fcuking said $5 parking, all day any time of day...but the attendant said, 'no it's $10'. Asshole :mad

Armin rocked though, Simsima and another friend of ours said that Ferry Corsten was better (I wouldn't doubt it, I love Ferry).

All of my camera phone pics came out tEh crappy :(

Ferry is trasssssssh in the MAR compared to Armin, but I did hear this Armin set wasn't quite up to par.

I see you guys go to FUR a lot...I'm there from time to time...everytime they have one of these guest DJ's it's super packed...I'm ussually in the Mink room and I've run into some of these guys up there before or after their set...I'm not super huge on their music but they seem like pretty cool dudes...

If I remember correctly, it's 5 bucks per day if you have a monthly permit, otherwise it is 10. Thats how much I've always been paying there.

I didnt realize that there where people on the forum who are into Trance. DJ Tiesto definantly still has his touch. I seen him dj last october in NY and it has been the sickest set by far compared to everyone else I heard. I just seen Paul Oakenfold in philly this weekend at Emerald City which was alright. I know Tiesto is coming to Crobar in NYC next month. I doubt Ill be going there though. Next big event Im going to is Whistle at shampoo may 27 in Philadelphia.

Everybody has their own tastes, but IMO he just doesn't bring the same type of energy he used to a couple of years back. Oakenfold is long overdue for retiment... He just keeps on embaracing himself alsmost every time he spins. It's always the same old story with him, play a bunch of ten year old tracks and call it a night. Alot of times he doesn't even switch up the order in which he plays his tracks, that's how pathetic he is. But like I said earlier, this is just my personal opinion and it may differ greatly from other's.

PS. Ti ruskiy?

I have to agree with that, Armin is good, but not the best...doesnt bring something really NEW to the table. IMHO, this is why PvD still rocks..he always brings in new tunes and changes his style, I never had a disappointing time with his sets only in Ibiza..he only did a 2 hour set and the crowd was lame.

Using that mac and integrating it with the mixer is quite inventive, if you ask me.
