Anyone know where I can pick up some Mintex Reds locally? The light came on yesterday driving home, and I wanted to try and replace them over the weekend. Also, has anyone had bad luck with the Mintex reds? My neighbor put some on his 528 a couple months back and they are pretty much dust-free; he says the stopping is excellent also.

Don't drive them at Road Atlanta and they'll do you great. :wave
It'd probably be worth a shot to give these guys a call. http://www.harrisonmotorsports.com/

So far no luck locally. I found some at www.autohausaz.com for $39 for fronts and $28 for the rear (with free UPS ground shipping). Does this sound like a decent price? Has anyone here bought stuff from these guys? They are a BF.C supporting vendor, BTW.

I put a set of Mintex Redbox on the 635 and they dust as much as the stock pads. This was bout a year ago and have not been happy with them. If I get time I will snap a shot of how much dust they produce in 5 days.
ALSO
The dust is hard to get off after a rain, my rims are actually stained in a few places due to the dust.
Highly disappointed and wished I had used PBR's.

Wish I`d kept up with this post; I went ahead and ordered them before I read the previous post, so I hope mine have better luck :( I was basing the decision off my neighbor, who has the M3 OEM wheels with Mintex Reds, and he gets hardly any dust weekly (we compare wheels every weekend, so I have a pretty good idea of the difference :) ) I`ll post feedback next week when I put them on.
Thanks for the responses.
