Well this is my first attempt at setting up a meet but with everything always going on, on the west coast I'd like to get a good meet over here on the east coast in our New England area. I'm located in Massachusetts and a good place for meets is in Rhode Island at Colt State Park. Very nice place, scenic, we're allowed to park up in the grass and can accomodate a lot of vehicles and people. I will be posting this on many other BMW forums, hopefully I can get this to be a good turn out. I am setting the date for May 27th, which is a Saturday time from 12 noon until you feel like leaving. All are welcome! It's going to be a bring your own food/beverage thing, but there are some food places all within 5 minutes. Still working out more details but wanted to post now to start getting a list. Like I said hopefully I can get a good turnout and get quite a few M3's to show up.

yo jared i was thinkin 10:30am-ish in the sports authority parking lot, right across mobil gas station. that way it gives everyone like 30 mins to show up, leave at 11am and get there 12/12:15ish for the start. leave a post or pm me or jared if ur interested so we can get an idea of how many people to expect. again exit #20 of 495 then take a right off the ramp if comin from south and left after ramp if travelin for north. later

Then we started swerving in the back of the line haha. The rain sucked though, i couldnt see anything on the highway. I was in the red E30. I was stuck on rt24 for like 4 hours. That shit fucking sucked. I heard that an 18 wheeler fliped over and blocked all lanes of traffic cuz it spilled a bunch of shit on the highway. Can't believe I missed out on this meet cuz of traffic.:pissed :pissed :pissed

So how was the meet? I had so much BS to deal w/ today I couldnt even go to the meet that I set up :banghead: any pics?

I showed up literally right as the rain started to come down, forcing more than half of the crowd to leave. I think I passed 90% of the folks that showed up on the road INSIDE Colt State Park (but damn was that a fine sight to see).

BTW, Brownie I'm also from Somerset, MA. Graduated from SHS in 2000. It's a small world I guess

You must be talking about Jim. Yea he mustve come in his compact w/the s52 swap. Well, summer is here and there will be alot more meets to come I guess. Only gives me room for improvement until then.
