I finally put plates on my car took it for a ride in brooklyn i recieved 3 tickets for loud music. the temp was 40 so the windows and top were up. all from rookie cops they stand on the corner if they hear alittle noise or vibration from your car they say the music was to loud. the sorry part is they gave me 3 different court dates and 3 different court 2 in manhattan 1 in queens. fro those of you who don't know it is a pink criminal ticket if you don't show up a warrant will be issued for your arrest. this is so much bull$&*t. i hope it's not like this the whole summer. just be carefull they even hide between parked cars when you come to a corner they approach you tell you to pull over ask you for your keys and then give you a ticket.

That doesnt make any sense... i thought for that kind of "offense" you could just pay the fines and forget about it like parking tickets.

NYC is just so hungry they will give you tickets for BS like you never heard of before...somehow they need to pay their debt... I got 4 tickets for tint (for each window) from a rookie cop, even though my tint is 35% and I am from NJ, he still pulled me over just for that...

I don't hate the cops! but i do hate those traffic officer:mad

they even tell you to rev your motor to heard the exhaust. if you have hid they check how bright they are. these are some crazy times. what are we suppose to for fun. if u get a speeding ticket will you speed again? two separate are two rookie cops. just read the tickets one is for disorderly conduct wtf?. i'll take the time to fight they cost 125 each with a surcharge maybe 150 each ticket. if i win i'll by springs if i lose stock m3 suspension stay in the car.

Only in NY would someone not turn down their stereo after getting one ticket, let alone two.

New york in general is gay. me and my frineds got one of those pink tickets the other day cuz we were at Tobay Beach after dark.. WTF?!?!?!?

Move to the suburbs and just party in the city on the weekends.....you cant beat that;)

you cant be issued teh same ticket in 24 hours last i checked the laws but that was years ago.

rookie cops will bang you for anything because they are pressured to get "numbers" when they get time on or at least be off the corner like 2dollar hoes they wont bother u. but you always gotta worry about the new rookie cops on the corner doing the same.. iguess you gotta turn the music down and leave the tints alone..lol will i..hell no.. im bumpin it and my windows are stayin just the way they are.

I got a ticket for my sound system couple of weeks ago too.

I was on a red light and there was a cop 2 cars in front of me... light turned green,he pulled over to the right and waited for me to pass and pulled me over.
Gave me a court summonse for "unreasonable sound from auto"

Such a stupid ticket... i bet i will go to court and it will get dismissed.

u can't really get a ticket for having the radio to loud unless its after 10pm.........then it like noise pollution or some shit, same goes for the exhaust
