Hello

Just bought a 2000 728i and so joined the forum.

The problem I have is that the stereo crackles. I have tried fading to individual speakers to see if it is a speaker problem but the crackle disappears once the fader or balance are moved towards their extremes.

Any suggestions on possible causes, test methods and solutions would be much appreciated.
