M3Alpine99 04-05-2006, 02:03 PM Do you have any m20s by chance? Oh and whats your name? no we dont im sorry Ask for Halston or Thomas Matt 04-05-2006, 02:40 PM M20s aren't hard to come by. Watch craigslist, e30tech.com and r3vlimited.com and you'll see 1-2 a week. What is wrong with your motor? How is your oil pressure? Have you had a compression test? Just because you fail emissions doesn't mean your motor is junk. Matt JDU 04-05-2006, 03:11 PM No its not because of emissons. I posted this on e30tech but this morning on my way to school the radio shuts off, ok not a big deal. Then the car wont accelerate and loses power, as i start to get over to the shoulder it shuts down completly. When I tried to start it it wouldn't even turn over. I tried jumping it and still nothing. Pretty I would rather put a motor in there thats reliable and passes emissions and have the m20 thats in it now to rebuild or turbo or just sell to off set the cost of a m50 or another m20 Matt 04-05-2006, 03:35 PM Ouch, tough break. Well, good luck with whatever. Matt keeptheuroalive 04-10-2006, 09:28 AM M50 would be a great swap it is cheap and offers decent power stock, and there are tons of aftermarket parts for it. skrissel 04-10-2006, 10:32 PM I have a complete M50 avail that would be great for a swap. All accessories, sensors, harness, ECU...everything except the AFM.. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks! -scott So i'm thinking about just doing a m50 swap or for that matter just getting a better condition m20. Anyone know of any places around the atlanta area to buy one? |
