A good friend of mine is coming over for the fest and we plan to head out Saturday night after the fest. I haven't been out much for about a year so I am looking for a good place where two 20 somethings can mingle.

This can be anywhere Santa Monica, Sunset, downtown...with a nice dress code yet being able to get in without standing there for an hour.

dam not really all the good one i know are shut down... hollywood but you'll probably stand in line and might not get in... imo la clubs < [insert here]. I would suggest just find a decent bar and a eatery/hang out spot.

Dude, just hit Sunset blvd... and you'll be lost in a bunch of club, bar, etc... and it's hella fun down there too. I mean it's fabulous.

Yea I've been down there before, But I'm not sure if we want to be jumping from place to place and its hard to get the vide of a place without having been inside. I think he wants to go to a lounge/club type of place without walking into the 40's bar hehe no offense to anyone.

Oh, well then here are couple of them that i've been to. Some are freaking wild. Cabana Club in Hollywood is a nice place. ViperRoom has a lot of chicks, always has good live-band, music... . Spider is good but uhm.. :mad freaking expensive. Miyaki or something like that is nice... and those are the one i recomend, hehhe, other ones that i know it's just ok.. not that great.

Plenty of great places to go. Some you have to get there before 10:00 PM to get in without waiting or greasing the bouncer.

Lounge/Bars

1. Priviledge-- West Hollywood

2. Lobby -- West Hollywood

3. Prey -- Hollywood

The Chatueu Marmont and Asia de Cuba/Skybar are other high end good bets.

Just pack a lot of money and do not valet the Garage Queen M3 of yours under any circumstances......
