View Full Version : Mofo Dyno lotto anyone?
Guambomb 04-04-2006, 07:34 PM Here's the idea:
1. Bring an extra 5 bucks to the dyno day.
2. Have a reliable third party hold the money (someone's girl?)
3. Then whoever guesses (correctly or closest to) their max hp at the end of the day, gets to keep all the dough.
Any players?
JedzE36/5 04-04-2006, 08:42 PM oh i am in. :)

204hp :dunno
Guambomb 04-04-2006, 10:05 PM Well my car made 195rwhp when it was stock so somewhere around there might be a good guess. You have to use your women's intuition and esp.
JedzE36/5 04-05-2006, 03:15 PM mine made 200hp and 184 lb/ft on my baseline dyno. AA told me, as well as others on the forum who have the same setup as i do, that i should get 220hp and 200 lb/ft. that is my estimate.
i say that EVERYONE NEEDS TO POST THEIR EXPECTATIONS ON THIS THREAD before Dyno Day.
TechnoM3Girl 04-05-2006, 03:17 PM haha you guys are silly. ok ill talk to duy and see what he says and then ill post it suckaz!
sxevegan 04-05-2006, 05:14 PM 211hp

yes sir and printout. basically the OKC and Tulsa dynos are just about the same. except for number of runs. but you should get your moneys worth at both!
M3Jhawk 04-06-2006, 04:33 PM yes sir and printout. basically the OKC and Tulsa dynos are just about the same. except for number of runs. but you should get your moneys worth at both! $40 for 3 pulls in OKC, $45 for 3 pulls in Tulsa (Tulsa Dyno will do 1 pull for $40, but you always get your cleaner run on 2 and 3) along with A/F and printout at both. Tulsa Dyno posts pics of your car and printout.

Justin(OKC) 04-08-2006, 08:46 PM wow, your AFR was worse than mine  Did vegan run his car? I wish I had seen the 500hp beast but the afternoon drive was awesome with the two E30's. Anyone know of a good E30 M3 for sale?

They are on their way. That was yours (according to where they stored them), I just used a different correction factor std vs. sae so the numbers are a tad different. I also got your 2 prior runs so I'll send those too.
Here are your last 2 runs compared to your best today:

22psi. Thanks. The HP should have kept going up all the way till redline but you can see it drops off as it starts to lean out. I'm going to put a couple more psi on the fuel pressure and adjust the gain on the boost controller and try again. I'll run race gas next time too.

no, i didn't. I decided that the $45 (which is a great deal) would probably be better allocated to my hallett fund....or new wheel fund...or track tire fund....or coilover fund :)
Eric ran his M roadster which is basically the same thing (s52) and put down a hair over 200....i want to say 204. For a while i thought that maybe that dyno was reading pretty low but 204 is a pretty healthy number for an s52 with only an intake
