With all the unpredicatable weather going on right now in Norcal it's hard to tell when it will rain. Who is going to wash their cars before going down to Bimmerfest?

Where at, you know a good place? Self service car wash? Any members live in SB I wanna hose wash mine:D , don't do those automated ones, last time that sh!t scratched up my car:mad .

if the weather stays like the news says, i'll be there dirty. If it's nice on thurs, i may take a chance and wash it, but i'm driving down sat am, so the way it is is they way it is...

wash and wax it up here, when you get there, take your trash bucket from your room with hot/warm water and some hotel towels/rags and do a wipe down. You'll have to also work on removing the bug guts from the front end. This is what i did last year and people asked what i did to get it on the lot so clean.
Just a suggestion, but it should really be waxed before the fest! n00b!

I've been detailing my car on the weekends for a month: clay, polish, lighter polish, 4 coats of sealant glaze 1 coat of wax and another on friday.

Yeah, i'll be bringing supplies with me and i'll giver her a quickie wash to get the road grime off from the drive.

I normally have so much 'product' on the paint that using quick detailer and a microfibre gets the bugs off pretty easily.

i used painter's tape on the drive down (drove down on monday).

It has been raining every day down here since monday.

I'm going to wash my car again this Friday... hopefully it won't rain between then and saturday :(
