View Full Version : 200,000 miles. Is it worth it to get it running again?

I have been posting on the forum about an 89 750il. It has been parked in a driveway for 3 three years where it was driven and never started again until last week.

The car has 200,000 miles on it. It has some minor cosmetic problems, but for a 16 year old car, its not too bad. Is it worth it to try and get it running again or should I just sell it for parts?

Where was it parked? It probably doesn't matter that much, though...

Those cars had some electrical issues even when well kept, so sitting for that time period sounds like trouble to me...

What did you pay for it? You would probably be better off parting it and putting that money down on an E38...
