View Full Version : New pics Pacific Ocean & BMW
Nero530i 04-04-2006, 12:55 AM Hopefully this works. I took a ride to the beach and took some shots of the coast and the car. Figured it was a good day given that it was overcast - - although it did start to rain at first - doh. Thankfully just a dizzle.
Tell me what you think.
Nero530i 04-04-2006, 12:57 AM Hold on experiencing technical difficulties.

Unfortunate price you pay for living in the automobile mecca of the world. Also an unfortunate statement regarding the ecological result of our beloved fossil fuel burning BMWs.:(

This post was about my photos and now its become a satire on the ecology and the environment. I won't be buying a prius, but I might buy a Hydrogen powered 5er in the future.:alright

NY550i 04-04-2006, 11:39 AM How far does the exhaust tip stick out?

Talk to Dinan, he made it.
Nero530i 04-04-2006, 12:45 PM How far does the exhaust tip stick out?
I love the car... looks very nice.
Thanks. It appears to stick out more than it does due to the recess in the M-Tech bumper. In other words, it extends may a couple inches from the recess - - not very far.
Nero530i 04-04-2006, 12:47 PM Sweet ride. Are those 18" RGR's, RSGTs or are they 19's?
RS-GT 18s: 245/40/18 on front and 275/35/18 on rear.

What springs are in the car? Dinan? Or stock sport suspension?
Nero530i 04-04-2006, 03:47 PM What springs are in the car? Dinan? Or stock sport suspension?
Dinan: the front is about 1/2 lower than stock sport, but the rear is about the same.
franka 04-04-2006, 03:59 PM I asked b/c it doesn't look lower than my factory sport 540 and b/c I'm looking to lower mine a bit lower than sport and I'm considering Dinan, H&R and Eibach, all the usual suspects.
Do you have any pics square to the side and up closer?

I have pics I believe - but not atm. My understanding Dinan lowers the least of the three. I will grab photos of before and after and post em up later.
franka 04-04-2006, 04:17 PM Great. Thanks.
Nero530i 04-04-2006, 04:48 PM Great. Thanks.
No problema
romanse34 04-11-2006, 03:16 PM Hi!
I've got a 528i e39. I noticed your exhaust and have a couple of questions. Is the 530 a v8 rather than an i6? How did you swap out the muffler?
