I just got hosting thanks to Dacoyote, now I need to work on putting an HTML index together of all the photos. Have about half of them uploaded so far. Thought the E34 community might like to see this. Its the same car that I posted a video of earlier doing the drifting.

was there... was fun to watch... the guy in the e34 was putting on the best show IMO... his car was smoking like hell (not just the tires) though. They mentioned over the speakers that his car was putting out about 480HP. Those aren't verified but the car looked like it had no shortage of power.

I was trying to listen to the details on the car, but couldn't because we had to move. On saturday, some volunteer tard told us our seats were in the grandstands on turn 1, so we went over there, and no one complained. Wanted to be there early on sunday to see him go again for the 9:15 drift show, but when we got to the turn 1 stands for the best pictures, they told us thats not where our seats were (they let us go there the day before because it wasn't crowded). So we had to go run and find a good picture taking spot. As they were telling us we couldn't go into those stands, he came by and did his best drift of the whole weekend right in front of us on turn 1, and I didn't have the camera ready (because we were showing our tickets) GAH!

Anyway, he was spitting lots of smoke, and more than one kind. I talked to him after the race on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday, he said he was running on 5 cyls, but didn't know why. On sunday it was pretty obvious he had blown a head gasket. After I talked to him Sunday he said he dropped 2 more cylinders and had to quit the drifting early.

Funny thing is he said the shop where he built the car was about 2 blocks from where I live in South Florida. I'll have more pictures out soon, trying to decide how to best present them (webpage, thumbnail indexing, one long multithreaded post....etc.)
