I need a new fuel pump, and when I looked on realoem.com it said $130 plus the core. When I called up the dealership to see how much, they quoted me at $183. I thought realoem represented how much parts cost at the dealer. Am I mistaken?

It is not exact, its more like a ballpark. Dealer prices depend on location, competition, and a bunch of other factors.

RealOEM's prices are actually their price to the public and are not reflective of the dealer's price. There used to be a disclaimer that prices at the dealer might be as much as 30% - 50% higher than realoem's prices.
