Landshark in Natick, or BPG in Stoneham.

Duncans European in Londonderry, NH. Might be a 30-40 min drive for you but they do awesome work there. That's the only place I bring my car other than the "stealership" for my warranty stuff.

My guess is that they will all be more than $450 though. Let us know how it goes.

It will range depending on if you call a place that specializes in BMWs or not. The shop who quoted you $450, what fluid are they planning to use? BMW or some Napa crap? That could account for almost a 40-50$ difference right there. Will they use BMW spec grade hardware? Are they going to reuse your old rusty hardware? Labor charge should be 6 hour for the install and most good BMW shops in the area are at least $75-$90 an hour. Remember shops in MA only legally need to be within 99% of what they quote you when they hand you the bill. Most places that do not do a lot of work BMWs will quote you what it takes them to work on a ford and them start tacking on the extras as they come across them.

I'd also highly recommend having your transmission cooler replaced at the same time if you haven't planned to do so.

Lastly do they warrantee their work?
