I like to deal with local buyers (ease of transaction), I wanted to see if there was a need for this locally. Up for grab is a fully functional (25% lock) LSD from a 98 M3 Automatic w/80K miles. I believe this is the most desirable diff out there. I was going to use this on my race car but the rules wont permit it in Stock class.

Listed for $750 plus shipping on the Ad forum, I will let it go locally for $700 and will meetup for delivery.

Nope, all 3.2L auto's were 3.38, 95 auto's were 3.23. This is a great upgrade, I recommend it for NA cars.

Nope. 95 Standard M3 = 3.15
95 LTW and 96+ Manuals = 3.23
96+ Auto = 3.38

Re: 3.38 LSD from Dinan's website:

The lower gearing takes advantage of torque multiplication, effectively increasing the torque delivered to the ground for faster and more immediate acceleration. There is only a minor increase in engine speeds at cruise, with no effective reduction of top speed. The 3.38 ratio was selected in order to enable cars to achieve a speed of at least 60-mph without introducing the need for a second to third gear shift.

Part #: D773-3671

Price: $2995.00

Yeah. It does seem a little high, but the 3.38LS diffs are hard to come by these days. I am looking for around the 300 dollar price range for say a 3.15LSD or 3.23LSD. Good luck with your sale.
