Sunday June 4th. www.stleuropeanautoshow.com

Those of you that havent participated in the past, PLEASE make an effort to enter your car for $20.00 ($25.00 day of show). We need a better showing this year. Don't let the Mini Club beat us in participants!!!!

You do NOT have to be a BMWCCA member to participate in the auto show.

Register early because it will be limited to 150 cars.

We need more 5 series and 7 series owners!! E28 M5, E34 M5 and E39 M5 owners need to attend. E24 6 series!! 318, 328, 323, 325, it doesnt matter.

M Coupes or M Roadsters, bring ur ass.

I'm bringing the M Coupe and the M3 Vert.

I just installed a carbon engine cover and a Dinan strut bar on the M3. I'm hoping to have the M50 intake manifold that's sitting in my office on soon too. I just made an offer on some wheels too. Soon I should get an exhaust system too. With an luck it should be a nice whip by the show.

The Coupe doesn't need any accessories to make it special.

edit: I sure use the word "too" a lot, too.

this year should be awesome..

we need to recruit more... the only cars that show up in the show are E36 and E46 M3s, 1 2002, 1 e30 m3 and then 1 or 2 e46 3 series.

no m5s, no m6s, no 7 series, no 840s or 850s.. we need them and z4s, z3s, m coupes and roadsters.. hopefully it isnt hot hot again.

definately bringing lawn chairs and more beer and water.

How did you get kicked out of m3forums? That place blows anyways. Bunch of 16 year olds asking the same question over and over. At least here you can go to the M3 section and get useful knowledge.

I really wish we could get more cars - M5's, M6's (especially the new E60 M5/E63 M6), etc. I think part of the problem, though, is that these owners just don't know about the show (they probably aren't on bimmerforums everyday). I think that is why the VW club always kills us in attendance - they have a more internet savvy group. I'm not bashing the BMW crowd at all, I just wish that we could get more meets and members to show with different types of BMW's.

My friend has a E60 530, but I think he's bringing his E90.

I saw a E60 M5 in my subdivision a coupe of times, but I don't know where the owner lives :help or how to approach him. He had a imola E39 M5 previously.

so do tell the point of entering a car, somethings on my car need some work and I surely dont want to be embarresed.

STL Avus M3
04-09-2006, 07:47 PM
There is no point to entering if you dont want to. Its just kinda gay if a bunch of people park in the lot and just walk over when the rest of us dropped money to enter. I guess none of us to could enter and we could all just chill in the lot.

Oh, we should do something new to further distinguish ourselves as the biggest hoosiers. Instead of just walking around with open containers, we should do edwards 40 hands.

And Ill bring my camera so i dont have to chace chicks with my phone.

STL Avus M3
04-10-2006, 10:20 PM
There are no vendors there that I remember. Its basically just a bunch of car people, rich ones at that.

I wouldnt worry about people touching on your car cause their are a bunch exotics and vintage cars as well so an E36 isnt gonna garner a lot of attention.

Beer? There is always beer if Brent, John, and I are there. Hells yeah.

Oh, anybody wanna grab a tasty brew this weekend? Ill be home friday night or sat until tues, but I have a job interview on monday and am getting my prospective house inspected on tuesday.

John, Ill be swinging through Columbia on the way to my mom's so you wanna grab something to eat or shoot some pics?

Sunday, June 4, 2006, Plaza Frontenac comes alive as nearly 10,000 come out to enjoy nearly 250 of the finest exotic and classic automobiles at the 19th Annual St. Louis European Auto Show. This year’s event will feature a rare sight indeed, the $1.8 million 800 hp Ferrari Enzo FXX, one of only 29 in the world. Admission is free to the public, but public donations to the Shriners are always appreciated. Food and refreshments are available from the Maplewood Lions Club and other Plaza Frontenac eateries. Please join in supporting this great cause on Sunday, June 4 at Plaza Frontenac (South Parking area, directly outside Saks Fifth Avenue), 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Rain date Sunday, June 11).
Currently BMW has 13 cars registered for the event, Mini has 15, Ferrari has 25 and Porsche has 35. We are lagging behind this year, last year we had over 20 cars attend. Please jump on the cause for Shriners and register your car for the show.

Sorry guys. I was planning on going but then decided to go on this business trip for my then job. Late on Sat after discussing the job with my mom, girlfriend and her family I decided to quit. I would have tried to make it, but I wanted to spend time with her because she will be at school all summer.

Oh, so now that Im unemployed again, I free whenever.

You really quit?!? We should grab a retirement brew then! But seriously, I'm sure you'll find a better job that you are are more excited about. Even more seriously, we should grab a brew.

Yeah the more I thought about it the more I realized how much it sucked and how much I didnt like it. I would probably spend most of my money on gas and repairs for my car. Shoot me up if you want to grab a brew whenever.

Oh, and Im not selling my flows, so lay off. :buttrock

I understand about the job. I'm sure you'll find something better.

It was worth a try for the flows, but I'll be getting something within the next couple weeks. I'm tired of driving around in stealth mode.

Did you come back home or are you still in columbia/branson?

Yeah Im back at home. I spent yesterday and today cleaning up my house. Soon as I eat and take a shower, Im gonna go on the stltoday site and look for some jobs.

If you arent working, we can do something. Maybe the Fox and the Hound later?

Oh, I really hope my gf becomes a really successful doctor. I think I could handle the stay at home dad thing perfectly.
