Looks like the GM of Cantina Laredo asked the group not to return. :nono

It is sad when a server worked as hard as she did to only make $23 on a $300 table-- $8 came from my wife. Then the tip out was $8, making her total $15. And no GRATUITY was not included.

Maybe some of the meet options should consist of fast food where tips are not part of enjoying table side service.

The managers even added this to their statement: "BMW's are for refined people, not a bunch of wannabe's."

:clap:thumbdown:bs:cashwalle

You are damn right, because my wife has to hear about everyday she goes to work now. In turn, she brings the DRAMA home to me. So yeah, I dimed out all of those involved, not one single person.

Did she earn anything? When I get shitty service, I give shitty tips.

And hey you never know, this is Oklahoma and these people drive BMW's.... the waitress probably has more spare cash because her toyota doesn't break every other week :D

In reference to the original post, " I am cordially inviting all of you MOFOs because she thinks that all of you are just the coolest."

Technically, NO, it was not a MOFO meet, however, a larger majority of the crowd were MOFO's.

Waiting on people is waiting on people. It is their job to be the gopher for a drink, meal, and whatever the people request, that does not mean they work for chump change.

It seems some in this group need to own a Toyota because they cannot afford the car and the luxury of going out to a dinner.

I do not undertsand what vehicle the server drives has anything to do with the service she gave and the lack of appreciation by the recipiants.

For anyone to say she gave bad service, they would be a liar.

This server tonight was not the only one to get "STIFFED" by the MOFO's, I know of others who have dealt with the same crap.

I was going to make a post, but then I errased it and decided to keep my mouth shut for because I wasn't even there.

15% of $300 is $45. You guys tipped just over 7%. Eh... oh well I guess. I've not tipped before and felt awful.

Mike, you need to relax dude. You're getting pretty defensive in every post. You did tip nice however.

i believe more would have tipped if the roof did not leak on us. i left a tip but i know christine's sister would have left more if water had not gotten in her drinks and food. and their ticket was 20% of the bill.

but besides that it was a great restaraunt. thanks for all that came out. christine had a great time.

i agree with jed, i wasnt too pleased that we got rained on and i do recall brandon had to wait for quite sometime to get a refill
crappy service=crappy tips

Since when do inanimate objects provide table side service? In other words, the building should not have anything to do with the tip.

MOFO's never got crappy service at the 'bees and I recall the tips being marginal at best...

You guys got crappy service becuase of the tipping trend.

Blanca forwarned the whole restaraunt of the MOFO way, why do you think she did not wait on the party...:rofl

Notice how it never took me any time to get anything... :wave

I agree with Mike on this one.

The whole reason we went to Golden Coral was because of "Grat" But I payed over $30 for crappy food. And getting my own Refills and no steak.

I can see where Mike would be up set on this one and standing up for his wife.

Plus the fact that the group is no longer allowed at the resturant is kind of crazy.

But everything is getting out of hand and gong to far. I don't know what happen to the meets on the streets that we used to have. But thats What I miss.

Hanging out and talking cars not talking about who did what to whom and blah blah blah.

This is all im saying about it. All I know is you tip those serving you at least 12%. Unless you get bad service. Bad service isn't waiting a litttle longer for a refill. Its wrong food, cold food, and/or bad attitudes.

See you guys at the next meet.

One thing that I may add is that the children were very very loud at Harry Bears, when they were messing with the balloons. It sort of annoyed me and I'm positively sure it annoyed the other table in our room.

if you knew we were such a pain why did you suggest the restaraunt anyways? was it to prove a point. why did you give me the number? i suggested that restaraunt because of the raves i got from blanca and you <sarcasm> but i guess 'my' kind of unclassy BMW 'wannabe' ballers should stay away from those places huh? i guess since i don't tip $10 to the server my kind should stay at McDonalds. i should also sell my car because since it is such a 'hassle' for me to treat myself to fine dining i dont deserve a BMW.</sarcasm>

btw i was happy to let you borrow my tools and bring them to you. how about you bring them back to me. i dont think i will be able to afford the gas to drive to your house or buy new ones with the little intern pay i have. or if you want you can keep em. no biggy to me.

I never said the above about the MOFO's, the management of the restaraunt did. But after sometone speaking the truth, oh wait "You can't handle the truth!" -- Jack Nicholson-- I then realized they were right. But hey, no biggie right... all of the group can handle the truth... uhh um, at least I thought, but who is counting.

I'll get your tools back to you, that was the agreement. I do keep my word.

3...2...1... I can't take this irrational behavior anymore. It's driving me up the wall and I have enough on my mind. Who is one person to point a finger and say that everyone is in the wrong or that someone shouldn't do this, or anything. I'm so angry that this drama has errupted in this group. It's stupid ass lame bullshit. BMW is not a status, it's a fucking car!! We all joined this group because we share the same passion about a CAR about a BRAND, not a status. Whether or not someone tips well or doesn't, it doesn't mean that they can't share that passion and enjoy the experience. I'm not one to take sides and I'm not going to nor will I call out names. I've been without a job since Dec, but that has not affected me tipping... no matter what kind of struggle came about the next day... I took care of the server. I'm so angry about all this that I can't even think straight. We have weekly meets for a reason, if something needs to be said then please address everyone at these weekly meets instead of posting on a public forum. I have made a lot of good friends through being a MOFO and no one is going to tear it apart. I love everyone in the group and no matter where I am... the MOFO's will always be my friends and support me and eachother. I'm tired of venting, i have to stop at this point.... peace out, ttyl, enjoy the free meal.

Me saying something about the whole tipping thing at my wifes restaraunt is just like all of you who came to B-dan's defense when I opened my mouth about his chick.

It is only natural for us to defend the ones who are close to us, so I am not out of place by saying something about what my wife is faced with at her job. I may have been out of place about other things, but hey I can't turn back now.

This was not directed towards one or two individuals, I was passing the word...
