shit.. my trunk lit latch.. connected to the trunk lid by two screws... the metal around one of the screws has already ripped off.. and the other one is going... is this fixable??? shit.. anybody know a good SF penesula/San Jose body shop who can help me out?

You can try to drill it out clean and get a bigger screw. If you can get in behind it just get a nut and bolt on it-- Probably use a big thick washer too. If you can get a thin piece of rubber under the washer on the back, do it, you'll save the paint so it doesn't wear/rust over time.

Just some ideas from a guy who isn't exactly sure what you're up against :)
