Well, what types of music do you like?
Boozie D. Clown 03-30-2006, 07:23 PM Well, what types of music do you like?
Pretty much everything!
Punk...Lagwagon, Descendants, Good Riddance, etc.
Hard Rock...Tool, Queens of the Stone Age, Helmet, etc.
Lighter Rock...Radiohead, Coldplay, Police, the Shins, etc.
Acoustic type...Ben Harper, DMB,
Jazz...Stanley Jordan, Miles Parker, Thelonius Monk
Rap...Beastie Boys, everything else since the 80 is crap...
I do mean everything....this is what I came up with off the top of my head...
I mainly wanted to hear what everyone else was into!!
angrytennisgal 03-30-2006, 07:25 PM So you don't like any music by women?
angrytennisgal 03-30-2006, 07:32 PM My favorite group is the Counting Crows. My favorite solo artist is Garth Brooks. I've had James Blunt's cd in my player since October...just ask Matt. I really like Matchbox 20 but also love Audioslave. As far as female artists go, Sarah Mclachlan, Rachael Yamagata, Norah Jones, Dido. I have to admit I'm a huge Mase fan. I also love country, especially Toby Keith and Keith Urban. I love "oldies" too. From the Platters to the Beatles to CCR.
Punk... Say Anything, Alkaline Trio, Hawthorne Heights
Rock... Smashing Pumpkins, Everclear, U2, Hot Hot Heat
Country... Kenny Chesney, Van Zant, Montgomery Gentry

bcart1991 03-30-2006, 08:00 PM G Love and Special Sauce is pretty much my favorite group of the past several years.
Galactic makes some GREAT New Orleans funk.
A Perfect Circle's latest CD is really good.
Badly Drawn Boy is a pretty mellow group I listen to.
Also a pretty big Radiohead fan.
John Lee Hooker is always money for blues.
There are also several lesser known groups that I like, as ATG can attest.
