Just wondering if anyone knows of anything that is common and/or inexpensive in gemany. I hear the BBS RS wheels are very common over there. But is there anything else that could be brought back in a car from germany?

in a car, you say. That thing about the wheels is true.
You could import an Alpina, if you like, but other than that everything is pretty expensive. Most people usualy bring rare parts for the old cars to restore.

I do know they like to swap their euro goodies for our DOT crap. So that makes those certain things common. Not sure how much of that applies to e21's though.

My GFs uncle is comming to america this summer and is willing to bring me something back if it will fit in one of the cars he is bringing over all i could think of were the RS wheels I have heard they are a dime a dozen over there but i was wondering if there is anything smaller or better i should be asking for him to find. somehow i doubt that 4 rims will fit in a car when he has to pack for a trip over. - chris

The stuff i would realy want is just out of the question things like spoilers and whatnot I almost think the wheels are pushing it.

How bout a few sets of Gruppe 2 flares in the trunk. I would buy a set from you for my next e21. Seriously.

They do ship to the US just not large oversized parts like said panels.
And to answer your last question, No.

I'd get a couple sets of front grilles and complete side marker assemblies. If you get just the euro side marker lenses they wont fit on the US bulb housings so you need the whole thing with harness to make it an easy swap.

alpina bits, steering wheels, wheels, exhaust manifolds, inlet manifolds, suspension, trim items, LSD's, crap, i would pack the car so tight with stuff you couldnt open the doors without something falling out.

No. Look up "Sperrdifferential" in ebay.de and see what the going rate for an ls diff is. Plus you have to keep in mind that e21s are not as plentiful over there as they are here due to the TUV inspections.
