In my experiance, Dont remove it at all. you should be able to just pull the carpet from out of it (i already had my seats out, so that helped), tuck your wires down (im assuming thats what you are wanting to remove it for) and then starting from the front, tuck the carpet back in when you are done.

If your talking about the panel that runs across the bottom of the door, you just pry it off. Its got little plastic clips and you just pop them out of the frame.
