I was looking to get HK speakers on my M3, I have them already but the Door 3in and maybe the 1in blew so I need replace ment. Where is a good place to buy new ones. I talked to the stealer and they want $114 for one.

Time to upgrade... I wouldn't just get HK replacements, why not take the opportunity to put in some better aftermarket tweeters in place... or better yet get a component system for the front... It will sound much better than the stock stuff:D

I'm convinced. The 'searching' gene has been wiped out from america.

This is the message I get when I try to use the bimmerforums search function.

then a simple scroll through threads in the last few days will still yield plenty of results. I think it's nearly mandatory that every new member asks this question when they come to this forum, so there are a couple threads on it, not to mention the sticky threads.

I understand what you are saying, I'm just suggesting that the noobs have a free pass on the searching right now! :D

Here's some help

MB Quart DKF-213 components onlinecarstereo.com

BSW 2.5" Midrange bavariansoundwerks.com

MB Quart DKE-169 onlinecarstereo.com

BSW 6x9 Adapter plates (I didn't need these) bavariansoundwerks.com

Sounds mucho better than the HKs.
