Friend wants to know of a good shop in or near Ft Lauderdale to get his E30 M3 up and running that has been sitting for 5+ yrs.

Not interested in Redline BMW. Thanks

MOTRONIX, in Dania AWESOME SERVICE!

Motornix does good work on pre-computer BMWs (at least they used to when we had the 7er from back then).

There is also UltimateEuro in Davie ... but I've heard mixed reviews about them... plus, they only really work on pre-computer BMWs as well.

It depends on the type of service...

AA in Miami - for most things
Vista BMW in Pompano - for warranty items / covered maintanence
Lauderdale BMW in Pembroke Pines - for oil changes / quick stuff
Dynamic Turbo in Plantation - For Tires

I'm currently looking for a place to do an alignment properly... South BMW did the last alignment and they got it spot on even with my custom alignment and settings. However, I'm trying to get a new place closer to home to do my alignments. I'm going to a new place as soon as my new shocks get here so I'll report back after I get those installed.

Kev,

I used a guy named Tony @ Lauderdale BMW (ft laud location). He's really good and set my car up well. Someone recm'd me to him and he understood exactly what I wanted since my car isn't stock either

i hate to hijack this thread but i didnt want to post another thread. it seems like i would be beating a dead horse. i also did a search, i know this topic has been covered. besides Redline and AA, the 2 places i usually go to, r there any shops in the Ft. Lauderdale area that does good work one E36 M3s? ive been having a power steering problem for awhile now:( , and ive taken it to Redline and they told me that i needed a new rack. i just want a second opion and i dont feel like driving all the way down to AA. just took it to the dealer and they wanted $119 just to look at it:confused , should have expected this. i really need to find a good local place to fix this quick. thanks and sorry for the hijack.

This guy is a master tech that worked at Vista and branched off on his own. I tried Redline, Lauderdale, Zolton....the list goes on. This guy is the only person that I trust. He is a one man show and busy, but you can't beat his prices and honesty. His name is Peter Brolmann and his number is 954-781-9510. Give him a try. I had an 840, 535, 635, 328 and M5 that he worked on all of them. Never had a problem ever with him. This guy will usually take a look at it for free, just drive up and ask him. Tell him you are in a jam.
