Hello.
I have read a lot of conflicting information on the internet with regards to English citizens speeding in France, Belgium and Italy.

I don't speed in built up areas but on open motorways I don't see the harm. However some websites say that if you get caught in France and Belgium by a camera the fine is forwarded to England and enforced. This doesn't seem true to myself, I thought they could only fine you on the spot?

Anyone know?
Thanks in advance.

Heck i just watch the truckers flashing other trucks with their highbeams

I kept to the speed limit on my way from Rome to London.

I Can guarentee its right... I've got the receipt to proove it. Don't get caught in France! They seem to prefer radar detectors, big grey boxes, usualy on the approach to a bridge. They give "fair" warning, the signs look like a ball with radiating semi circles.

Mappy.com will give you approximate locations for speed camera on your route. also if you are on the motorway and you go through two tolls too quickly you will get a fine at the second toll. they know how long it should take for the distance so if you are quicker your getting a fine. dont know about forwarding it on to your home address.

Also, IIRC don't get caught with a radar detector in France or Spain, they will sodomise you for having one.
