Does anybody know what the range for 2006 (or pre-2005) spec adhesion loss is for an average grand prix circuit - ie for a standard stint, how much grip do the tires lose? 1 sec, .5 sec etc.
Also, I read that the rule of thumb for F1 car at Nurnberg is the loss of .05 sec per lap for every lap's worth of fuel on board. Does this seem right.
I know that the difference between Monza and Monaco must substantial, but I'm just trying to get a feel for the metrics.
Thanks:cool

I doubt anyone on these boards except for Rory could give you a good answer. It depends on the stint length, compound, etc (although I'm sure you know that).
The fuel thing seems like it should be pretty close to accurate, although there is no Nurnberg track;) Nurbergring
I'm interested in hearing some good answers also...

the tires lose a small amount of grip as the stint goes on, but this is more than compensated for by the loss of fuel weight. i think a car at the end of a stint on light fuel is usually 2-3 seconds quicker than the same car on a full fuel load...

whoops! that's that eine andere deutsche Stadt - to think that I lived only a few kilometers away one summer
that is the "other" German city that also has a DTM track - with a pretty infamous "grandstand"
