My goal is 350 - 400 whp with a quick enough spool so that it is fun around town. I read the "how to read compressor map" sticky and portions of Maximum Boost, as well as some internet how too's.

Getting down to the my parts list, I think I will run on my m50:

Cast manifold, T3 flange, external wastegate (audspeed? other?)

2.5" ic/intake piping

Best intercooler I can find to fit under a non-M bumper

GARRETT GT30R 4" inlet and 2.5" outlet.
Turbine
-Wheel: 60mm w/ 84 trim
-Housing: .63ar
Compressor
-Wheel: 76.2mm w/ 56 trim
-Housing: .60 ar

Your expert comments would be greatly appreciated. Particularly injector sizing.

Don't flame me too hard, I'm still learing.

Should work well, and have a little headroom if you want to turn it up a bit later.

Thanks. Found it here http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=482652&highlight=gt30

Didn't discuss compressor side, IC piping size, or inectors. So comments still appreciated.

IC piping was discussed recently also, but all you need is 2.5 piping. You can go smaller, down to 2", but there is no need to go any larger. What are your questions about the compressor side of the GT30?

440CC injectors is what you'll probably want to use I would imagine. That is what I'm going to use with my GT30R and or GT35R

I thought I had some choices on the compressor output housing (2 vs 2.5), but in talking to vendor I realize I don't.

This is definitely the turbo I will use. Too bad the GT series are so expensive.
