WTB:2001 E46-330i or Ci for track conversion

(desired locations: NY,PA,DE,MD,VA,WV,OH,KY, all New England states if the car frame/underside is clean and has no rust - will evaluate all regions but would like to avoid shipping costs)

Looking for;
-E46
-330Ci or 330i - not an Xi
-5 speed manual
-Interior color - black
(fair/poor interior condition acceptable ie: ripped front seats and/or no sound system, damaged door panels)
-Exterior color - black or silver ideal, but will consider all exterior colors with black interiors
-Sports package
-High mileage OK
-Price range - $8,000 - $12,000
(under, or at $10,000 for immediate purchase)
price pending condition and mods/options/upgrades
(Kelly Blue Book trade in values for a 2001 330i, 4 door, sport package, in
fair condition with 85,000 miles is $10,745.)

-The car must not have been in an accident, I require a straight, un-rusted frame, clean title.

The car will be converted to a street legal “track car” consistent with BMW Club Racing “J stock” class rules, and as such I will replace the seats, install a cage, harnesses, fire system, and remove the Harman Kardon sound system and all the speaker wire harnesses, etc.

Items such as heated or electric seats, parking sensors, memory seats, cell phone mount, ie; cold weather, premium packages or show (not go) options are items I do not require. (Front splitters and rear wings I consider go options.)

Mechanically:
-The water pump, tensioner, belts, and control arm bushings have been replaced. (First three should be done by 80,000, second every 45-50,000.)
-The windows work well, window regulators tend to go out on E46’s
-If an 01 330i, please let me know the status of the “over boosted” steering (it is soft, and BMWNA replaced the steering for free if the previous owner(s) acted on the service bulletins)
-No rear sub-frame damage. E46’s tended to tear out the rear tower mounts near the differential.

Motivated buyer, located in upstate New York. I currently have two independent auto brokers searching for the above described car, most cars located have been "too nice," with lots of additional comfort options I don't need, and the justifiably high price to match the options.

Would travel to pick up after local independent mechanical review, but prefer slightly Northern and Eastern states so I can fly in and drive home rather than shipping the car, which just adds to the total cost. I will require lots of pictures, interior and exterior, to buy sight unseen.

Yes, I know I can buy a nice E36-M3 240 HP for less than the price of an E46 330i with 225 stock HP. I love E46s, and I want to run the car in JS.
