i'm crying as i type this, but i must let the 36 go, for i have fallen in love with the 30

the car is a 1992 alpine white 325i automatic with grey leather interior, im the 3rd owner making you hopefully the fourth, i have no problems with the car as it is an amazing first car. the car is at about 186700 miles, the only thing going on the car is basic things that go wrong with 36s, nearly always garage kept, never driven hard, ever. driven highway miles all of its life (judging by what info i had from past owners), i drive it from home to work which is on the highway about 15-20 miles, and to school which is about 2 miles from home, second owner used it as a business car to go from state to state, owner before me loved it to death and babied it like no other

paint is in insane condition for being this old, im not saying this just as a seller, but for a 92 there are slim to no things wrong with the paint, i can point them out later in pics if needed

suspension:
koni sport shocks all around
eibach prokit springs all around
m-motorwerks front CF bar
eibach antisway underbody kit
1500 dollars invested

tires:
new tires put on less than 4k miles ago, working great in all weather
rims are stock bottle caps
700 dollars invested

lighting:
oem clear turns (from dealer)
depo clear tails
depo heads
predator chromium rings
no HID lighting
stock fogs
about 600 dollars invested

sound system:
stock highs and mids
dual alpine type e 12's in the trunk in a ported box
sony head unit
power acoustic dual channel 900 (if i remember correctly) amp
installed mp3 wire which is coming out underneath the OBC in that openning
about 500 dollars invested

other stuff worth the time to type:
had the sunroof break on me about 4 months ago, got it repaired but is NOT working
new oem window regulator put in drivers side (went out on me)
new window switches put in (too hard to push)
all installs and work done by professionals either a deal or cert. bmw tech.
smoked in a few times with drivers side window and rear backseat window open (long days at work)
no other owner has smoked in it
only a few spots where the paint is either bubbling or rusting but nobody will see it but you

new oem exhaust put in a few thousand miles ago

new sparks and coil packs installed less than 1k ago

oil changed on time every time by all owners

power steering fluid is leaking (common)

cant think of anything else to put in here, questions, comments?

$6k for a 92 with 186k miles and its an auto? lol... way to high, even with the mods its worth no where near that. Mods don't make up for the bluebook price. worth bout $1500-3000 best. Sell your mods, you'll make more $$.

Still doesn't make the blue book for your car any higher. I would say try ebay. You MIGHT get 4k-4.5k for it MAYBE.

Auto + I believe the 92 = non-Vanos engine.

the 92 is a shitty year, ill admit, just because it was the first e36 and bmw kind of threw it together, but i put a shit load of money into this car, ive never sold a car before, and this is my first car purchase, would an ad in the local paper at 4550/obo be a better idea?
