What kind of damage can really be repaired, when it comes to wheel bends, etc?

I am looking at a set of OZ Superleggeras that were driven on road courses, but I am afraid to close the deal as they have been repaired --- they were repaired by a professional wheel repair shop, of course, but...

... I just want some reassurance from someone other than the seller :D

Nothing against the seller - the seller is very reputable, in fact.
