BF.c's mini forum is basically dead. There must be some place that you people go to for the other 99% of the time. What is it?

I just registered on MINI2. Is that a popular one?

I would suggest http://www.northamericanmotoring.com . IMHO, MINI2 has more UK folks while NAM has more USA members.

Here in the Northeast, most of us MINI owners perfer the MINI2 regional threads for setting up events and off-topic discussions. If you seek event information and witty banter, MINI2 is a good spot. They also have good Q&A threads, but they can be more internationally oriented.

However, I do agree with mace about NAM, specifically for a US-based Q&A point of view. I seem to favor that board for more technical information.

I'd watch both and see toward which one you gravitate.

I do the same a Theo. I check out mini 2 only for the northeast USA thread to see what's up locally. I use NAM for the tech stuff all the way. I would say that the most experience is there.
