I have relatively new H&R springs sitting in a box in my basement.
Read: Paid for. #29-593 F 60mm R 30mm
Maybe 70K miles on them. I took them off when I bought the car.
My currrent springs are for a 323ti which now have ~120K on them.
My Koni adjustables have ~200K miles on them.
I loved how the car handled with the springs and shocks back then.
The car handled too well. Meaning all I had to do is point and shoot and the suspension did the rest.
Low ground clearance and wanting to learn better car control forced me to remove the springs.
After a few years of DEs, I want to upgrade the suspension back.:redspot

The car is a daily driver and sees 4 or 5 weekends of DE events.
I'll have to get something else before next winter due to the low ground clearance.

What are my options?
I have been suggested to go with a GC coil over kit using those springs.
I really would love to get rid of some of the body roll. See photo.

I carry 5 tires, tools and a jack in the trunk to events.
With the H&R springs I can just get my fingers between the fender and the wheel.
Will the extra weight cause any problems?

Just stay on smooth roads and don't hit any bumps ;)

Add up how much weight you are putting in, and use it to figure out how much it will further compress the spring, translate that to the ride height, and you can figure it out. If its a couple hundred pounds though, it might cause some tire rub if you can only get your fingers between tire and fender, and they are not rolled/pulled at all.

Only one way to really tell, put susp on and load her up :)

NM misread your post....

I would go with the GC's and the springs you liked. But get the Koni's revalved while your at it.
