I'm trying to remoive the center indirect fresh air grill in my 97 e38, the one above the center dash vent on top of the dash. From the ETK it looks like it should just pop out, but prying gently on it doesn't do much. I'm afraid to pry harder without knowing if there are hidden screws somewhere. Does anyone know? Thanks.

go back and look at the diagram again...you should notice that there is a screw (#12 in diagram) that goes down thru the grill into the front center grills (that face the front).
