Cool ! im in the process of looking for the front ones.I cant find KYBs for my fronts without EDC.I have KYBs on the rear and they are EXCELLENT!!

Despite all the negatives ive heard about KYB shocks.I am a KYB fan for now on.Nice smooth ride.I love em.PLz tell me where to get the fronts without EDC.I would buy them right now if i Could!!!!!

call BMW and see if all your recall work has been done, because they have a recall on the front struts.... they're replacing mine for free this coming week ..along with a few other things.

I dont have anything on mine but some weak emissions recall in my software.Thats it.How did you check yours?I called the dealership and gave my vin and told me that was all i had.

Got a set from Tire Rack for my E32. I experienced a stiffer and bouncier ride. My experience shouldn't be more different if installed on an E38.

these KYB GR-2 is just a stock replacement. These provide no added performance. I have KYB AGX adjustable shocks and struts on my race car and I would never put GR-2's on anything. And no need to order this from a online source they sell this crap at pepboys/autozone.

What would you Guru's reccomend for my sport model? I would like to retain the stock stiffness. The stocks are $279/ea from the dealer. What would be a comparable aftermarket replacement? I hear the Bilstein sports are too harsh. Ideas?

Also, Trans, where did you hear about a suspension recall on the E38's? I searched the internet no no avail. Called my local dealer and he had no idea what i was talking about.

I don't think there is a Bilstein Sport for the E38 - HDs seem to be the way to go...
