I experienced a stiffer and bouncier ride. My experience shouldn't be more different if installed on an E38. Bukwild 03-13-2006, 11:17 AM these KYB GR-2 is just a stock replacement. These provide no added performance. I have KYB AGX adjustable shocks and struts on my race car and I would never put GR-2's on anything. And no need to order this from a online source they sell this crap at pepboys/autozone. Mungrin 03-13-2006, 11:28 AM I dont want added performance. The roads where i live are a nightmare.Auotzone and Pep Boys dont carry Kyb for e38s.They only carry Monroe Jfstu 03-13-2006, 12:53 PM What would you Guru's reccomend for my sport model? I would like to retain the stock stiffness. The stocks are $279/ea from the dealer. What would be a comparable aftermarket replacement? I hear the Bilstein sports are too harsh. Ideas? Jfstu 03-13-2006, 12:58 PM Also, Trans, where did you hear about a suspension recall on the E38's? I searched the internet no no avail. Called my local dealer and he had no idea what i was talking about. ionescut 03-13-2006, 07:18 PM I dont want added performance. The roads where i live are a nightmare.Auotzone and Pep Boys dont carry Kyb for e38s.They only carry Monroe autozone is carying bilstein heavy duty for e38 i bought rear from them Reed Hunt 03-13-2006, 08:00 PM What would you Guru's reccomend for my sport model? I don't think there is a Bilstein Sport for the E38 - HDs seem to be the way to go... |
