Thanks.BMWCCA-Los Angeles, Central California, and San Diego chapters, NASA, Speedventures, and some others run DEs at local tracks - Buttonwillow, Willow Springs (and its little brother Streets of Willow), and California Speedway.

BMWCCA and SCCA also run auto-x locally.

Other non-local tracks that some LA people go to include Las Vegas, Infineon (Sears Point - Sonoma), Laguna Seca, Thunderhill, and Phoenix.

somewhere on thiis forum somebody posted a link to a schedule that has every track event, which you can search by region.

I do HPDE with NASA. They are a good group and they have racing and time trials when your ready to take that step. They run at Buttonwillow, Willow Springs and have an event this weekend at California Speedway. Too bad it's supposed to rain all weekend.
